Throughout the ages, music, and rhythmic sounds have been binding agents of all people. Today, teams catch the rhythm and carry the beat with Music, a fun, innovative tribal team experience that strikes a chord with everyone. Absolutely no musical experience is required to participate. A World of Percussion with a wide range of simple drums and percussion instruments transforms students into musical artists with a powerful message 
This program is all about audience engagement. “The World of Percussion” introduces
to the audiences different parts of the world and some history and their origin through percussion. The program is also designed to enhance cultural awareness. This program is for mostly K-8 grade students but can be customized for any age level. The program starts with a simple short explanation about exactly what is percussion and how it works. After a short demo/performance of some of a few basic percussion instruments.
 After percussion demo about 25 or more people from the audience will be selected to come on stage to play various percussion instruments of their choice. The participants are directed to play some simple rhythms as a group. Once the participants get the concept of playing as group then we can start some Positive Rhythm Chants.
Positive Rhythm Chants is nothing more than getting the participants to say positive things in a rhythmic manner and can be customized to fit your next Event

Mestre Curtis Pierre, also known as “The Sambman” or simply Mestre Curtis Pierre, should be recognized for his impressive achievements as a Master Teacher/Cultural Guardian of Brazilian culture. In fact, this prestigious title cannot be obtained at any university worldwide, and Mestre Curtis has been instrumental in providing information and assistance regarding Brazilian culture in New Orleans, particularly in its relationship with Carnival and Mardi Gras Indian culture.

What’s more, Mestre Curtis is not only an expert in Capoeira, the first African martial art to leave Africa, but also a master of Brazilian percussion. He is the first person in the US to be recognized as a master of both Brazilian cultures. His dedication to presenting authentic Afro Brazilian culture to his community, the state, and the country is unwavering, and he has been continuously involved in the local community, especially through his youth programs.

In recognition of his expertise, Mestre Curtis has also written a book on Capoeira Angola movements and has taught classes on both Samba and Capoeira in Brazil. Renowned for his incredible talent and mastery of the Brazilian percussion instrument, he is widely regarded as one of the top three Pandeiro jugglers in the country. Mestre Curtis has learned from some of the best percussionists in Brazil and has dedicated his life to perfecting his craft. He has performed extensively both nationally and internationally, sharing his love for Pandeiro and Brazilian music with countless audiences. In addition to his impressive skills as a performer, Mestre Curtis is also a gifted teacher, who has taught countless students of all ages and backgrounds. His contributions to the world of Brazilian percussion and Pandeiro playing have earned him great respect and admiration from fellow musicians and fans across the globe.
